The star attraction is the amazing μGrind “super chuck” from GDS. Designed by tool grinders for tool grinding, it’s simply the best tool grinding chuck in the industry by far. And it’s now available for all WALTER CNC tool grinders (including the Helitronic Micro and Helitronic Mini Automation), the ANCA FX, MX, and TX machines, the Star NXT, the Reinecker WZS 700, WZS 60 and RS 700 machines, and the Saacke UW ID, IF, and IIF tool grinders.

Have too many Schaublin collets to change? Check out the new Scorpion, which combines µGrind technology with other collet families. There’s also the GDS Viper for clamping bigger tools and/or a bigger diameter range.

For manual clamping, we offer the GDS xGrind series. The xGrind Hydro has a hydraulic clamping mechanism and uses Schunk sleeves to clamp intermediate diameters. The xGrind HPS uses the same amazing HPS collets as the μGrind super chuck.
