Adjust the spindle RPM within the recommended range to the point of optimal spindle load.

Incorrect spindle RPM:

    • Setting a lower than recommended speed may result in high rates of wheel wear and breakdown of the wheel form
    • Using a higher than recommended cutting speed might result in overheating, burning and clogging of the wheel
